Laura is an Asian American writer and filmmaker from New Hampshire who earned her Bachelor's in Media Production from Emerson College, concentrating on screenwriting. She loves to cross genres and mix psychological, thriller, and drama elements to create poetically strange environments centered on the human condition. Her directorial debut, Vulpes, garnered lots of attention from her peers while simultaneously taking home numerous screenwriting awards, along with the Emerson College Marcia Robbins Wilf Women in Film Award. While primarily focused on narrative storytelling, she is currently directing her first documentary, Sandcastles.
