Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) is described as a disruption of identity characterized by two or more distinct personality states (DSM-5)
DID develops as a response to severe childhood trauma as a mechanism to protect the body. People usually aren't diagnosed until early adulthood, 18-mid 20s. Symptoms often include severe memory loss, PTSD, and other mental disorders like depression and anxiety.

Logline: Confused and attempting to hide his DID, in the Inner World, Ari and his alters try to piece together why he never sees his parents anymore, as his Aunt and Uncle, whom he lives with, won't tell him. All the while in the Outer World, getting ready for his final year of high school, Ari meets a new student, Lila, and she soon discovers that Ari isn’t an average person.
